St Cadoc's Primary School - Award

Action Groups - Eco Schools Group

On Tuesday 9th November, the staff and pupils of St Cadoc's Primary School were delighted to be presented with The Go Greener Eco Education Award 2010. This community award was presented to Jim Duffy (Head Teacher), pupils and Eco Committee members in recognition of achieving its second Green Flag and the work that has been done in the school to help combat climate change and save the planet!

St. Cadocs go greener

Councillor Eddie Phillips, Go Greener Past Chairman, and Glyn Jones, Go Greener Team Leader and Chairman, visited the school to make the presentation. Pupils watched a Go Greener DVD, which reinforced the message that everyone can play a part in combating climate change - 'Think Global - Act Local!'

The award, in the shape of a very attractive plaque, will be given pride of place at the main entrance to the school.
