Energy saving idea sent to E.R.C.

East Renfrewshire Council have a capital program they run every year.

The program is to improve council houses in the authority.

We have asked the council why do the fit energy saving boilers along with radiators without lagging them.

Ther program for this year as far as boilers is concerned is £450,000.

The boilers are top grade with eco setting, but the heating is still being lost due to the pipe work not being lagged , silver flash backs aren’t being fitted at the back of radiators.

We can only ask that they look at these proposals and take action.

Flash backs and pipe lagging are sold in hardware shops.
