There are a lot of ideas for saving energy as well as saving money around the home and office.  

Printing on paper

I am sure most people don't print off emails unless they really need to. But a good idea is to have a bunch of paper next to your printer that has either been sent to you in the post (such as sales letters etc) or from your own workings that has only been printed on one side leaving the other side blank to print on. Using these sheets for general scribbling or printing on will save a massive amount of paper. Of course use the good stuff for your correspondence but leave the general printouts and scribbling on to the reverse of the used letters.
